Silvermoon Kennels started in 2008 when we got our first Shiloh Shepherd from Tina Barber. Zion's Cheye Reflection aka Leah (Cheyenne/Warba) was our pet upgradeable DNB who was going to be the foundation of our breeding program. Unfortunately we discovered that Leah had Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) and we were unable to breed her. Leah has gone on to lead her life as a beloved pet and soon to be aunt in our home. (UPDATE: We lost our Leah to bloat in the winter of 2018.)
In 2012 Silvermoon's Willow of Zion aka Willa (Coco/Captain) joined our pack and in March 2015 has become our foundation bitch. Willa had a litter of 7 puppies in March of 2015. We tried to have an additional litter with her, but were unsuccessful. (UPDATE: We lost our Willa to a stoke in the fall of 2020.)
In 2018, Guardians LuckyCharm for Silvermoon (Indiana/Django) joined us. Reigna is currently undergoing all of her required health and temperament testings to ensure that she is able to join our breeding program. We anticipate that all will be successful and plan to have a litter in the Winter of 2020.
